2 Weddings and a Broken Camera

Luxembourg gardens was our first stop for some pictures of a fountain, people, and a dastardly pigeon that was inching towards a tourist. From here we decide to walk over to Mike's Bike, to put the deposit down for a tour we were doing the next day (next chapter). This is west of the park near the Eiffel tower.

From there we walk to the Military museum and Napolean's Tomb. Considering the low light in the tomb I was happy with the pictures. The museum is neat, and we walk through the WW2 era area to see things. We also managed to make a little time to see the 1800's weapons and uniform area.

Neeley got her chin tickled by Charles de Gaulle (see pictures).

We called Lufthansa again and found out that we had been given 50 euros worth of credit to buy clothes, because they still had no clue where our luggage was. We ran to Bon Marche (a recommended department store) to find some clothes. Levi's jeans started at 65 euro. We decided to go over the limit when I discovered a single pair of underwear was going to run me 30 euro. We rushed from Bon Marche to an outdoor place near the hotel that was open til 21:00 so I could find a shirt and pants. I did the us->european size conversion based on finding some Columbia brand pants, and then bought cheaper pants, and a shirt. We got back to the hotel, the shirt fits, the pants aren't even close. I curse Lufthansa.
